Who is this guy?

    This is Zell, but I almost always just refer to him as "Guy,"
    so that's more his name than his actual name. He is currently
    ~6 years old and was born sometime in July. He came home with
    me on 8/30/2020!

    What is he?

    He is a 5 foot long adult corn snake and his morph is Amelanistic. A morph is to reptiles what fur patterns are to mammals. Being amelanistic, he has a complete lack of melanin, so he's missing the typical corn snake checkered belly and dark pattern outlines. His eyes and the tip of his tongue are also affected!

    Like most captive bred corn snakes, he has a very easygoing, docile temperament. He is a snake of astounding patience, but underneath his stoic exterior he harbors a trickster's heart.

    His favorite activities:

    Zell enjoys supervised outside time, digging, climbing, occasional TV, investigating new smells, and bulldozing the decor in his vivarium.
Fun Facts

✧ He is named after Zell from Final Fantasy 8 which is funny because I had JUST started the game and still haven't beaten it

✧ I got him DNA tested to determine his gender ( I thought it was funny). You do this by mailing in a shed skin. They sent me an email that said MALE in giant blue letters

✧ He was born with a scar on his neck (it does not impact him)

✧ When he was taken to the vet for a check-up, they said he has a "slightly smaller-than-usual head" but that he's doing good!

✧ His headstamp pattern looks like a heart and a skull
